2012 Pay It Forward Party
A great time was had by all at the recent Pay-it-Forward Party fundraiser, held on September 15 at the Renaissance Hotel at North Hills. We hosted an evening of food and fun, with WRAL-TV Anchor Debra Morgan as Mistress of Ceremonies and AT&T North Carolina President Cynthia Marshall as Honorary Chair, raising a record amount of approximately $222,000. This revenue will bring us closer to our goal of helping one Triangle cancer patient every day this year – 365 days; 365 patients.
We are tremendously proud that CCF has now helped more than 1,500 cancer patients and has surpassed $1.3 million dollars in fundraising!

Sparkle with a Passion New Year's Eve Bash
The Sparkle with Passion New Year’s Eve Bash held to benefit the Caring Community Foundation was a memorable evening filled with elegance and red carpet touches. We were dazzled by Garner’s Grand Marquise Ballroom, live entertainment, and delicious food provided by local restaurants. Our featured speaker, Shauna Adams, inspired us with her courage and reinforced our commitment to the Foundation’s cause. Our deepest thanks go to all who attended as well as the organizing committee and our event sponsors: Anfesa Jewelers and Saad Investments. The funds raised at this event will make a difference in the lives of the patients we help in our community.
2011 Pay It Forward Event
Thank you to all that attended the 2011 Pay It Forward event, for your generosity and kindness. The evening was memorable with an amazing live auction and raffle prizes, great music, great company and of course the support that all of you gave to the patients who we help in the community. Together we can Reach Higher to help more people in need.

Activate Good's Couture for a Cause 2011
Congratulations to Jessica Fulks on her winning art-to-wear design inspired by the Caring Community Foundation and showcased at Activate Good's 2011 Couture for a Cause event. Jessica's winning look was a long black dress with a quilted belt, inspired by CCF kids, with symbolism from the foundation.
All funds raised at Couture for a Cause benefited Activate Good (formerly ME³), supporting our efforts to activate volunteers to help nonprofit partners in our local community.

The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic
The Caring Community Foundation was under the tent at the 2011 Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic on August 28. This year's event was held at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on NC State's Centennial Campus. Susan G. Komen 2011 Race for the Cure Event
As a grant recipient of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Caring Community Foundation had a presence at the Race for the Cure Event held at Meredith College on Saturday, June 11th. Thanks to all of our great volunteers! A sincere thank you, as well, to all those who stopped by our table to share their stories with us.
