Kim Walker Volunteer Spotlight December 2011

Meet one of our volunteers: Kim Walker

The Caring Community Foundation recognizes and thanks Kim Walker for the numerous contributions she has made to CCF over the last 5 years.  During that time, Kim has served on the CCF Public Relations committee,and she has coordinated the design and printing of our invitations, programs, thank you cards and other printed materials.  Kim was instrumental in bringing Constant Contact to CCF and continues to manage it from 900 miles away.

A few interesting facts about Kim:

• Kim lives in Hammond, LA and is a crazy Who Dat! (New Orleans Saints fan).


• Kim is married to another CCF volunteer, Brian, and has an amazing 9 year old son, Payton.  


• As Associate Director of Programs & Events for the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center, Kim gets to plan all of the fun for her children's museum.


• Kim is addicted to Crossfit.

"I was inspired to volunteer with CCF when I met Jill & Eric when we lived in NC and they were customers of ours at Peak Automotive. I fell in love with the foundation and couldn't give it up even after moving to Louisiana. I've been helping CCF from afar for over 2 years now and am thrilled to see the foundation continue to serve patients." -- Kim Walker
