Whole Foods Market donates proceeds to THE CARING COMMUNITY FOUNDATION encourages community giving and “paying it forward”

On Thursday, January 26th, the North Raleigh location of Whole Foods Market (8710 Six Forks Road) will donate 5% of the day’s net sales to THE CARING COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, a local non-profit organization working to offer financial assistance to those struggling due to necessary cancer treatments.

Whole Foods Market and The Caring Community Foundation encourage North Raleigh shoppers to explore the store’s latest specials and extensive variety of natural and organic products while supporting a great local cause. The partnership between Whole Foods Market and The Caring Community Foundation is founded on each partner’s beliefs and efforts supporting wellness and giving in the North Raleigh community and beyond. In honor of 5% Day, The Caring Community Foundation will be displaying hand-made quilts January 26th, an initiative for children in the community to connect with children battling cancer. In addition, The Caring Community Foundation and Whole Foods Market will be giving away reusable bags and raffling gift packages (free entry) to customers shopping during 5% Day.
