Ways to Give
Every gift, no matter the size, helps us provide critical financial assistance to cancer patients and their families during their time of greatest need. Your generosity ensures that no one has to choose between treatment and keeping the lights on. Whether you choose to be a one time donor or a recurring monthly donor, you will make a positive impact in a family’s life, and be a part of a Caring Community.

Monthly Giving
A monthly gift is one of the most powerful ways to support your neighbors through cancer treatment. Recurring donations give us the steady foundation we need to respond quickly — so when a family faces a shutoff notice or an empty tank of gas, we're ready.
Even a small commitment adds up. A $25 monthly gift becomes $300 of real, meaningful help over the course of a year.
Setting it up is simple — just choose your amount and we'll automatically charge your credit card, debit card, or bank account each month. No reminders, no extra steps.
Corporate & Matching Gifts
Did you know your employer may double, or even triple, your gift? Many companies match charitable contributions made by their employees, multiplying your impact without any extra cost to you.
Check with your HR department to find out if your company has a matching gift program. It's one of the easiest ways to give more to the neighbors who need it most.
Local businesses are a vital part of our community, and corporate partnerships and sponsorships are a meaningful way to stand alongside your neighbors when it matters most. Whether it's a workplace giving campaign, an event sponsorship, or another kind of collaboration, we'd love to explore what's possible together.
Honor & Memorial Giving
Some gifts carry a deeper meaning. A tribute gift in honor or in memory of someone you love is a beautiful way to celebrate a life, mark a milestone, or keep a cherished person close to your heart — while bringing comfort to families facing one of life's hardest chapters.
When you make a tribute gift, we'll send a personal acknowledgement to the individual or family you designate, letting them know they've been honored in such a meaningful way.
Legacy & Planned Giving
A legacy gift to the Caring Community Foundation is one of the most lasting ways to extend your compassion into the future. And legacy giving isn't reserved for large estates. It only requires a thoughtful intention: naming CCF in your will or estate plan.
Planned gifts allow you to support a cause close to your heart while working within your own financial and tax-planning needs. When you're ready to include CCF in your plans, your attorney will need the following:
Legal Name: Caring Community Foundation Inc.
Federal Tax ID: 20-0036976
Status: 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation
Address: P.O. Box 1364, Cary, NC 27512
Gifts of Stock
Donating stocks, bonds, or mutual funds is a straightforward way to make a meaningful contribution. We work closely with Financial Resource Management, Inc. to receive and process transferred securities, with proceeds going directly to emergency assistance for cancer patients in our community. You'll receive a letter serving as your receipt for the tax-deductible gift.
Donor-Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund lets you direct your charitable giving on your own terms, putting your dollars to work where the need is greatest, with the flexibility to give in ways that work best for you.
IRA Qualified Charitable Donation (QCD)
If you're taking required minimum distributions from your IRA, a qualified charitable distribution to CCF may be a smart option. A QCD isn't tax-deductible, but it does count toward your required minimum distribution and excludes the donated amount from your taxable income. This can reduce the impact on Social Security, Medicare, and other credits and deductions.
As always, please consult your tax advisor to determine whether a QCD is the right strategy for your situation.
