PIE IT FORWARD!

Pie Yourself and Pie Others – On Pi Day & Beyond!

Want to throw a pie in your boss’s or best friend’s face? What if you could do just that and help cancer patients in North Carolina at the same time? Here’s your opportunity, with the Caring Community Foundation’s PIE IT FORWARD fundraising event.

Pie It Forward is Caring Community Foundation's inaugural, annual event to raise awareness and funds for our mission to support cancer patients in need in North Carolina so they can focus on their treatment.

We also seriously love pies…and Pi Day!

Help us spread Caring Community Foundation’s mission with a virtual challenge that starts on Pi Day (March 14), where you will either pie yourself, your loved ones or friends from class, work, sorority/fraternity, or even your neighbors! Afterwards you’ll need to "double dog dare" three friends, or soccer teams, or parents...or anyone that wants to participate in a good thing for people they don't even know!

How Pie It Forward Works

01

Go to donorbox.org/pie-it-forward-challenge and click on “I want to fundraise for this”. Set up an account, customize it, and make a donation. Don't forget to ask your employer to match your donation.

02

Record a video with your name, state that you’re Pie'ing It Forward for the Caring Community Foundation for North Carolina cancer patients in need, and then challenge three people to Pie It Forward, too!

03

Post your video on Facebook, Instagram TikTok or LinkedIn
and include a link to your fundraising page.

04

Tag us on Facebook at @CaringCommunityFoundation and Instagram at @ccfsocial, include the hashtag #PieItForward and tag the friends you challenge.

Pie It Forward to help cancer patients like Briggette.

On behalf of all of the cancer patients that will be helped because of you taking a pie in the face and challenging your friends and family to do the same, thank you for PIEticipating in Pie It Forward and making someone's life a little easier.

We can't wait to see your videos!

We thank In-Kind Friends, a nonprofit organization based in North Carolina, for the guidance, expertise and support.
