This exclusive dinner will be an experience to remember with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Caring Community Foundation.  CCF is a local charitable organization that provides financial support to cancer patients in need by providing assistance with rent, utilities, treatment or other expenses that become difficult to manage during cancer treatment.

Enjoy Summer Fun at the Durham Bulls on Sunday, August 4

The Caring Community Foundation (CCF) is teaming up with the Durham Bulls on Sunday, August 4th for an exciting fundraiser! The whole family is invited to join Debra Morgan, WRAL Channel 5 news anchor, and a host of fellow supporters, for an evening of fun (game start 5:05 PM) as we raise money to help cancer patients throughout the Triangle.

Each ticket voucher is $9 and can be redeemed at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park for the August 4th game, or any Sunday-Thursday game during the season! 50% of each ticket purchase goes to support The Caring Community Foundation.

Ticket vouchers may be purchased online here until July 28, 2013. After July 28, tickets may then be purchased by contacting info@caringcommunityfoundation.org.

2nd Annual 5k Race:Congrats and Thank You to KE UNC Sorority!

On a very chilly February 2 morning, enthusiastic runners and walkers showed up on the UNC campus to participate in the 2nd Annual KE Sorority 5K to benefit the Caring Community Foundation! A great event! Fun was had by all!


A special thank you to the KE Sorority event co-chairs, Kelly and Terah and all the members who volunteered their time to make a difference for area cancer patients and their families!

Jill Wolford is the N&O's Tar Heel of the Week

Jill Wolford started The Caring Community Foundation as a sign of gratitude for the help and support she received from friends through her fight with breast cancer. In 12 years, the Foundation has raised more than $1 million and helped 1,500 families pay their daily expenses while they undergo treatment for cancer.
