Dr. Colleen Casey Miller Joins Board of Directors
Raleigh, NC — September 17, 2025 — Caring Community Foundation (CCF),a 501(c)(3)
charitable organization whose mission is to support cancer patients in North Carolina by
providing them with emergency financial assistance, is today announcing the appointment of Colleen Casey Miller to its board of directors.
Dr. Casey Miller is an emergency medicine physician with over 26 years of experience at UNC Rex and currently serves as an attending physician with Raleigh Emergency Medicine Associates and President of the Medical Staff at UNC Rex and Rex Holly Springs. In addition to her clinical role, she represents the medical staff on the UNC Rex Hospital Board’s Executive Committee.

Her broad network across the Triangle’s healthcare systems and her commitment to community-centered care make her a valuable ally in advancing CCF’s mission of dignity and support for cancer patients.

Dr. Casey Miller joins the Board of Directors as CCF celebrates its 25 th anniversary of providing financial assistance to North Carolina cancer patients in need. To date, CCF has helped over 5,000 patients with close to $3M in support.
